KAWIGIRLS CAMPOUT FAQs

Can my partner/parents/family come camp and hang out for the whole weekend?
Yes, absolutely! however, you must purchase the correct ticket for the amount of support people you are bringing. This is covers the cost of their entry to the venue, camping and dinner on Saturday night.

Can my partner/brother/dad etc ride?
This is one for the Girrrllsss! There is to be no riding by partners, dads, brothers etc. Enjoy the weekend and support these epic gals!

What time do we kick off on Saturday?
We ask you to arrive at the track by 8am on Saturday morning, to ensure you have enough time to sign in, get your camp area set up, and be in your gear for briefing at 9:30am.

Can I get a refund if I cant make it?
If you do enter and decide to change your mind, you will need to try and fill your spot. If you cannot find anyone to fill your spot I will not be able to refund you.  Please keep this in mind when purchasing your ticket!

Can I come to only 1 day of the campout and is it any cheaper?
This is a 2-day campout with a set ticket price whether you can come 1 or both days. It is structured in a way to learn and progress over the whole weekend. I really encourage coming both days to get the full camping experience with all the gals!

What to we sleep in?
Bring a tent, sleep in your van, camper/caravan. True Kiwi gal's weekend away!

Can I do a payment plan?
At this stage I haven't had any interest in a service like Afterpay. There are a lot of extra fees on top of the standard ticket sale/ hosting fees for this. If there is enough interest, I will look into it.

I am a beginner, is this event suited for me?
Yes, it is the best way to up your skill level, awareness of the bike and yourself as a rider, gain confidence, meet like-minded gals to go riding with and break through barriers! The event is structured to suit all levels. As long as you know how to start your bike and use brake/clutch to get you going - You will learn the rest!

I've already been to a Campout #1 and would like to go to another. Will it be exactly the same?
After each event I run, I learn so much to help develop and add more value for you girls. This next event will be the same structure but a whole lot more value and radness! Over the weekend we will be working on your current level of riding. We believe each time you come to a Kawigirls Campout you will progress a lot on and off the bike!

What is the youngest age you will take?
I generally get girls as young as 7. As long as they can do a full lap of the track they will reap the same amount of value as everyone else!

I want to come to the Kawigirls Campout, but I am nervous to do it by myself. Are there other girls doing this alone?
Absolutely yes! A lot of girls attend on their own which is awesome to see! Push outside that comfort zone and watch your Independence, confidence, and friend circle grow from this epic weekend!

Will there be Demo Bikes available?
Unfortunately, not this time.

What does my ticket cost include?
Your ticket is paying for the travel of myself and helpers to get there, dinner for yourself and support people (sat night), private track hire and camping fees, ride fees, goodie bags, photographer, videographer, coaching from skilled top New Zealand riders, and the team for their work/time!

Remind me, What do I need to bring?
• Clothes, bedding and blankets
• Towel if you’re wanting to use the showers
• Tent, caravan or motorhome
• Headlamps, torches
• Own food & Snacks – Saturday nights meal will be provided
• Plate, Bowl, Utensils, Cup
• Your bike, tools, plenty of gas to burn and spares
• Plenty of water
• Protective gear

• A good stick for roasting marshmallows
• A great attitude!
• Ideally a flat stand (to learn body position with you'll need a stand to keep your bike level)

Visitor Policy - Is it a private/closed event?
This is a PRIVATE event. I have hired the venue for this weekend and therefore everyone needs to be pre-registered (including support people) and sign in to meet Health and Safety protocol. Unfortunately, unregistered visitors are not able to attend as we need to know how many people are on the premise at all times. This is also to ensure paying riders get the best experience possible.
